Speaking Engagement

Peng Chen is a speaker at the Advanced Later Flow course.

Lateral flow assays continue to evolve. Specifications are becoming more demanding, including those for speed to result, sensitivity, multiplexing and quantification. Areas of application continue to expand, including clinical diagnostics, veterinary diagnostics, food testing, agriculture, bio-warfare and environmental testing applications. The funding and timelines available to bring products to market continue to shrink, and regulatory requirements continue to become more complex.

As a result not only has the task of developing and manufacturing a test has become more difficult, but additionally the job of designing, developing, manufacturing and SELLING the right product for the right market has become more difficult. Too often project plans focus more on the technical aspects of the product, and too little on the other elements of the plan that will result in a commercially successful product.

This intensive two day course picks up where other programs leave off. It’s not just about the test. It’s about the product.
