BoardIQ Exchange webcast: Parsing Out the Reserve Fund Ruling

27 Nov 2012 11:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.

Jonathan E. Braunstein

BoardIQ November webcast is focused on "Parsing Out the Reserve Fund Ruling." Our panel will offer insights on what the jury's decision means for money funds and their boards.

Earlier this month, jurors issued a ruling clearing money market fund inventor Bruce Bent and his son of fraud. While the ruling also found their company liable for fraud, the overall decision is considered a victory for the Bents and a setback for the Securities and Exchange Commission. The SEC had hoped to prove the Bents lied to independent directors, investors and rating agencies shortly before their fund, the Reserve Primary Fund, broke the buck.

The live event will be held on November 27, at 11 a.m. EST. If you are unable to attend the live event, register now and we will notify you when the recorded archive is available.

Make sure your questions are addressed by our panel by sending them to theexchange@boardiq.com. We will select from those questions and ask them during the live event.
