On 29 January 2013, leading covered bond originators, issuers, investors, traders and market professionals are invited to gather in Frankfurt for IFR’s 7th Annual Covered Bonds Conference, to discuss the key issues and challenges in the covered bond markets in 2013 and beyond.

Scheduled early in the year to provide an outlook on 2013, this annual conference will assess the development of the Pfandbrief and covered bond markets through continued economic uncertainty. Sessions will cover ongoing regulatory developments for covered bonds; future issuance prospects; trends in structuring, valuation, performance and trading; investor sentiment and asset allocation for 2013.

MoFo attorney Jerry Marlatt will speak on the panel “Origination Hotspots.” This panel deals with surveying the issuance outlook in covered bond origination hotspots, including new jurisdictions, periphery countries and new global markets including Canada and Australia, emerging markets, their comparative cover pools and asset structures, and where originators should focus on in 2013 for market growth.
