PIPRA’s 2007 annual gathering is a forum for representatives from member and affiliate institutions to discuss PIPRA’s governance and activities, assess its progress, set future priorities and explore new opportunities to fulfill the organization’s mission.
Hosted by PIPRA and Morrison & Foerster, LLP, the 2007 meeting and symposium entitled “Technology Access for International Development” will be held on Wednesday March 7th at The Renaissance Parc 55 Hotel in San Francisco, California.
This meeting has been conveniently scheduled to coincide with the 2007 AUTM Annual Meeting held at the The San Francisco Marriott Hotel on March 8-10, 2007.
Meeting and Symposium Registration
The morning session of PIPRA’s annual meeting is open to representatives from current and potential PIPRA member institutions. The afternoon symposium will be open to the public and comprised of two panels addressing the new initiatives in agricultural, biofuels, nanotechnologies and health research and the impact of intellectual property policies on humanitarian outcomes.

Afternoon Symposium - Open to the Public
An open afternoon symposium entitled “Technology Access for International Development” and will address the new initiatives in agricultural, biofuels, nanotechnologies and health research and the impact of intellectual property policies on humanitarian outcomes. This symposium is exclusively sponsored by the law firm of Morrison & Foerster, LLP.
Please note that PIPRA’s 2007 Annual Membership meeting has been conveniently scheduled to coincide with the 2007 AUTM Annual Meeting to be held at the San Francisco Marriott Hotel, on March 8 -10, 2007. For those only attending the PIPRA 2007 Annual Meeting, the Renaissance Parc 55 Hotel and the San Francisco Marriott are now fully booked. Alternate hotels are as follows.
