On September 8, the Senate voted to adopt the House of Representatives' version of the Leahy-Smith America Invents Act. Upon being signed into law, the Act will institute a new post-grant system that expands the options currently available for challenging a patent after it has been granted. Patent practitioners and companies must now begin to prepare for the changes.

This webinar will examine the new post-grant system, including the elimination of inter partes reexamination, establishment of post-grant review proceedings, special transitional post-grant review of covered business method patents and supplemental examination.

If you can't make the live time of this webinar, you can still register, as the footage will be archived and your login details will enable you to listen to it at a time that suits you.
