The Dodd-Frank Act is set to overhaul the derivatives trading infrastructure in the U.S., creating new incentives to execute trades on transparent platforms and settle transactions through centralized clearing. The ultimate results of the regulations may be difficult to assess, but the impact will reach beyond the financial sector.

The speakers will provide a status report on the progress of rulemaking and will discuss the following topics:

Topics Will Include:

  • Which rules have been finalized?
  • Which rules remain to be finalized?
  • What is the timeline for remaining rule making?
  • How will implementation be staged?
  • What can you do now if you are an end-user, or if you are a dealer?

  • David H. Kaufman, Morrison & Foerster LLP
  • Ellen P. Pesch, Sidley Austin LLP

ALI-ABA's fee for this webinar is $199.

ALI-ABA will provide CLE credit.
