The District of Columbia Bar presented its Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year award to Seth Galanter in recognition of his outstanding pro bono work and unwavering commitment to children with disabilities, blind vendors, prisoners and other civil rights plaintiffs with novel and complex legal issues. (2008) The Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs gave Seth Galanter and the firm’s team of attorneys its Outstanding Achievement Award for our successful litigation securing access to on-the-street public parking in the District for people with disabilities.
