Two MoFo Lawyers Named 2016 Women Leaders in Tech Law by The Recorder

04 Oct 2016

Morrison & Foerster partners Suz Mac Cormac and Catherine Polizzi have been named to The Recorder's 2016 list of Women Leaders in Tech Law.

The list celebrates the 65 California women lawyers who are "leaders in board rooms and courtrooms across the Bay Area." Honorees were selected based on their recent achievements as litigators, advisors, and strategists, as well as leadership roles at their organizations and in the broader legal community.

The Recorder asked each of this year’s winners how they would tackle the gender gap in the technology industry.

“Invest heavily in recruitment and education of women into math/science programs at universities,” Ms. Mac Cormac told The Recorder.

“Keep on tackling it by our being there, our being there for others, and for deliberately trying to promote other talented people to fill this gap,” said Ms. Polizzi.

This is the third time that Ms. Polizzi has been named to the list and the second time for Ms. Mac Cormac.
