MoFo Represents Mozilla in Acquiring Pocket

Morrison & Foerster represented software developer Mozilla in its acquisition of Pocket (Read It Later, Inc.), a content storage application allowing users to store interesting articles, videos and more from the web.  The transaction represents the first acquisition by Mozilla and is a major breakthrough for the developer of the Firefox web browser. 

The MoFo team representing Mozilla is led by Corporate M&A partner Alex S. Kaufman, and includes Technology Transactions partner Billy Schwartz, Employment and Labor partner Eric Tate, Compensation, Benefits + ERISA of counsel Ali Nardali, Tax of counsel Craig Phillips, and associates Jae Yoo, Chris McKinnon, Kelly Lowenberg, Kathiana Aurelien and Joe Tucci.
