Morrison & Foerster Awards Nine 1L Diversity Fellowships

This summer, nine first-year law students from some of the top law schools in the United States will join the firm as part of the Morrison & Foerster 1L Diversity Fellowship Program. The incoming fellows will receive paid summer associate positions in four of our U.S. offices.

Recipients of the 2017 1L diversity fellowships include:

  • Nate Tisa, NYU School of Law
  • Pia Figuerola, NYU School of Law
  • Kirk Coleman, Columbia Law School
  • Regina Molina Ochoa, UC Berkeley School of Law
  • Mariela Cisneros, NYU School of Law
  • Thomas Davidson, Stanford Law School
  • Haris Durrani, Columbia Law School

The 1L Fellowship Program recognizes and supports the career development of promising law students of color, as well as LGBT law students. This is the program’s sixth year, in which time Morrison & Foerster has awarded 48 fellowships.
