Morrison & Foerster LLP provided legal advice to the New York arm of Axium Infrastructure Inc., an energy infrastructure private equity fund headquartered in Montreal, Canada, in its acquisition of slightly less than half of Capital Dynamics’ equity stake in the 475 MW Kings Mountain and the 518 MW Middletown projects in North Carolina and Ohio, respectively. Both natural gasfired projects are being developed by NTE Energy, are currently under construction and are set to reach commercial operation in 2018.
