Morrison & Foerster LLP represented software developer HealthcareSource HR, Inc. in its acquisition of the Centricity Contingent Staffing business from the healthcare IT division of General Electric.  HealthcareSource is a portfolio company of Francisco Partners, the San Francisco-based private equity firm focused exclusively on investments in technology and technology-enabled services businesses.

The MoFo team representing Francisco Partners and HealthcareSource was led by Palo Alto corporate M&A partner Alex S. Kaufman and San Francisco debt finance partner Dario D. Avram, as well as San Diego tax partner Shane Shelley, San Francisco technology transactions partner Billy Schwartz, Palo Alto privacy partner Chris Lyon and ERISA of counsel Amanda Hines Gold.  The associate team was led by Palo Alto corporate M&A associate Jae Yoo, with assistance from San Francisco debt finance associates Victor Liang, San Francisco technology transactions associates Susanne Petersen and Scott Sawyer, Denver tax associate Joe Tucci and Palo Alto privacy associate Mary Race.
