MoFo Advises Solar Frontier Americas on Sale of Solar Power Plant

Morrison & Foerster LLP is advising Solar Frontier Americas Development on its sale of 40-megawatt Midway II Project solar power plant to Dominion Resources, Inc.

Solar Frontier Americas is a U.S. subsidiary of the world’s largest provider of CIS solar energy solutions Solar Frontier. Solar Frontier Americas develops and sells power plants in the U.S. and Latin America. The Midway II Project is located in Southern CA and is expected to generate enough electricity to meet the need of over 6,500 homes annually. Dominion is one of the nation’s largest producers and transporters of energy.

The MoFo team was led by Los Angeles-based Project Finance and Development partner Jeffrey Chester. The team also included Julia Balas, Huilin Cornell, Megan Jennings and Craig Phillips.
