Legal Services of the Hudson Valley Honors Morrison & Foerster

13 Apr 2017

On April 6, Legal Services of the Hudson Valley (LSHV) honored MoFo at its 2017 Equal Access to Justice Dinner. The firm was presented the Access to Justice Award for our litigation advocacy on behalf of special education students in the Mount Vernon New York school system.

Matt D'Amore, Sarah Prutzman, Jeffrey Rosenberg, Esther Kim Chang, and Claire Gunner are co-counsel with LSHV in a suit against the Mount Vernon School District and the New York State Department of Education.

Robert Hermann, LSHV board member and senior counsel, noted that “no other law firm has had the unwavering involvement, matched with the talent, drive and enthusiasm that MoFo has delivered for LSHV clients, without fail."

LSHV is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free legal services in civil matters for individuals and families who cannot afford to pay an attorney.
