MoFo Advises Spark Networks in Merger with Affinitas

Morrison & Foerster LLP is advising Spark Networks, Inc. (NYSE MKT: LOV) on its merger with Affinitas GmbH. Spark Networks owns and operates more than 30 niche-focused online websites, including JDate®.com and ChristianMingle®.com. Affinitas runs online dating businesses in 26 countries including EliteSingles. The transaction is structured as a stock-for-stock merger creating one of the largest online dating providers. 

The MoFo team is led by partners Murray Indick (San Francisco), Michael O’Bryan (San Francisco), Joerg Meissner (Berlin), and of counsel Joy MacIntyre (San Francisco).
