Morrison & Foerster Advises Berkeley Electronic Press in its Sale to Elsevier

Morrison & Foerster LLP represented Internet-Journals, Inc. d/b/a Berkeley Electronic Press or “bepress”, in its sale to Elsevier, Inc. bepress is a Berkeley, California-based company that delivers software-as-a-service (SaaS) to institutions of higher education and their libraries to promote their institution, faculty and intellectual property. Elsevier Inc., a subsidiary of RELX Group plc, is a global information analytics company that helps institutions and professionals progress science, advance healthcare and improve performance.

The MoFo team was led by Robert Townsend and included Patrick Huard, Jamal Al-Haj, Kyun Saiidnia, David Strong, Joseph Tucci, Ali Nardali, Rose Marie Plato, Paul Jahn, Nikita Tuckett, Stacey Sprenkel and Aki Bayz.
