MoFo News Item

MoFo represented Forcepoint, a global cybersecurity leader, in connection with its acquisition of RedOwl, a Baltimore-based provider of security analytics focused on helping customers understand and manage human risk.

The acquisition brings RedOwl’s user and entity behavior analytics (UEBA) technology to Forcepoint. Forcepoint’s human point strategy views people – rather than technology infrastructure – as the focal point for cybersecurity. This is just the latest step taken by Forcepoint to arm customers with cybersecurity systems designed for the reality of modern threats.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Morrison & Foerster’s deal team was led by Northern Virginia corporate partner Charlie Katz and associate Dan Kahan.
