Joshua Ashley Klayman, head of Morrison & Foerster’s Blockchain & Smart Contracts Group, discussed the trends that are beginning to emerge as more countries issue guidance on ICOs. Overall, Ms. Klayman believes the outpouring of regulations is a positive sign despite an outright ban issued by China.

“It signals that this space is going to be taken seriously, and it shows the maturation of the token sales space into a safer market for global investors,” she said in the Bank Innovation article “How Do Countries Decide How to Regulate Cryptocurrency?”
