According to partner Rufus Pichler in The Wall Street Journal article “Qualcomm Is Fined $773 Million by Taiwan Over Patent Practices,” Qualcomm’s model for licensing its products is facing greater scrutiny.

“Their model is under real pressure,” he said. “These antitrust rulings have two elements. One is the fine for conduct in the past, but the other is making changes to fix it going forward.
