Partner Donald C. Lampe does not believe there will be significant changes to the CFPB in the wake of Richard Cordray’s resignation.

“There’s a tendency to overreact and to assume that just because there’s a change in leadership there’s a change in direction,” he said in the Bloomberg BNA article “With Cordray’s Exit, Could CFPB Moot PHH Constitutional Issue?” “Our experience with the agencies over the years is that change is a process and not an event.”
