SPC Issues New Interpretations on Arbitral Judicial Review Cases

GC Agenda China

30 Jan 2018

Timothy Blakely, head of Morrison & Foerster’s Hong Kong Litigation Department, was quoted in the article “SPC Issues New Interpretations on Arbitral Judicial Review Cases” published by GC Agenda China on January 30, 2018. Mr. Blakely provided comments on the SPC’s new judicial interpretations of arbitral judicial review decisions. While acknowledging the benefits of the new interpretations, Mr. Blakely also cautioned that “these benefits may not be cost free, however, as opening the pre-reporting system to domestic cases and permitting reviewing courts to seek input from parties may serve to further delay enforcement."
