Futures Regulator, Broker Settle Lax Cybersecurity Charges

AMP Global Clearing, LLC settled its charges levied by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission over its failure to diligently oversee a cybersecurity vendor in another example of “a long-standing theme among financial regulators about the critical need for financial institutions to oversee third parties with whom they do business,” according to partner Nathan D. Taylor in the Bloomberg Law article “Futures Regulator, Broker Settle Lax Cybersecurity Charges.”
