Rosenstein: No Allegation of American Involvement or Election Impact – In this Particular Indictment

Despite Rod Rosenstein’s emphasis that the indictment of 13 Russian nationals did not allege that any Americans participated in the operation, Morrison & Foerster’s Global Risk & Crisis Management chair John P. Carlin explained that it doesn’t necessarily mean that won’t be the case for future indictments.

"What you saw at the press conference is not an 'all-clear.' Instead it's a careful prosecutor sticking to the four corners of the indictment,” he said in the CNBC article “Rosenstein: No allegation of American involvement or election impact – in this particular indictment.”
