The Decade Of Women action-focused campaign to achieve gender equity recently named Morrison & Foerster LLP of counsel Joshua Ashley Klayman among its “Top 10 Frontier Women” in the emerging blockchain and digital assets market.
Ms. Klayman and her fellow honorees were selected for their pioneering work at the forefront of digital thought leadership, contributions to advancing women’s equity, and pushing the boundaries of technological innovation for social impact.
Notably, Ms. Klayman, who co-founded and currently co-leads Morrison & Foerster’s global Blockchain + Smart Contracts Group, is the only lawyer in private practice to be named among the honorees and Morrison & Foerster is the only law firm to be named on the list.
"I'm truly honored to be named one of the Top 10 Frontier Women and to be included among such remarkable leaders as we kick off the Decade Of Women. Thank you, Fifth Element Group, United Nations, Thomson Reuters, Morningstar, and many others. I look forward to working shoulder to shoulder with women and men to achieve gender equality and address many other challenges affecting global society,” said Ms. Klayman, upon accepting the award.
The Top 10 Frontier Women award is part of the Decade Of Women launch which includes signing a historic #WeUniteWe pledge of large-scale commitments to celebrate, unite and exponentiate the progress of both women and men to complete the gender equity revolution, and to realize the UN Sustainable Development Goal #5 to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls by 2030. According to the Decade Of Women initiative, all Top 10 Frontier Women will continue to lead and drive the exponential transformations required to achieve the goals of the campaign.
