Morrison & Foerster partner Carrie H. Cohen was “glad justice was served again” for former NY Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver who was found guilty on seven counts of federal corruption. Ms. Cohen led the prosecution team for the Southern District of New York during Silver’s first trial.

“We built a strong case and the facts remained the same with no issue proving official action,” she said in the New York Law Journal article “Silver, in Retrial, Found Guilty on All Counts of Corruption.”
