In the Washington Post article “The Cybersecurity 202: Georgia is voting on insecure machines in today's primary. This group is suing,” David D. Cross emphasized the importance of greater security for Georgia’s voting machines as he leads a MoFo pro bono team in a lawsuit against the state.

“Given what we've learned about election interference and what's expected in the midterms, you can’t go forward with a machine that can’t be audited,” he said. “If we can get the relief we want before November, the system will be much more secure.”
