Morrison & Foerster Represents Teradata in its Suit Against SAP

22 Jun 2018

This week, a team of Morrison & Foerster litigators filed suit for client Teradata against SAP for trade secret misappropriation, copyright infringement and antitrust violations. In a suit brought in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, Teradata, the leading cloud-based data and analytics company, alleges that SAP has engaged in a decade-long campaign of anti-competitive behavior to the detriment of the parties’ customers and Teradata alike. Teradata is seeking an injunction barring SAP’s illegal conduct, monetary damages, and all other legal and equitable relief available under law and which the court may deem proper.

Morrison & Foerster’s team is led by IP Litigation partners Mark Whitaker, Bryan Wilson and Dan Muino, and Antitrust partner Brad Lui. Also on the team are Patent Litigation partner Brian Busey, IP Litigation associates Mary Prendergast, Fahd Patel and Corinna Alanis, and Antitrust associate Rob Manoso.
