‘Call For Response’ Signals SCOTUS Interest

In the Bloomberg Law article “'Call For Response’ Signals SCOTUS Interest,” Morrison & Foerster partner Joseph R. Palmore cautioned that, despite a “call for response” slightly increasing the likelihood that the U.S. Supreme Court will hear a case, whether they actually will is still far from a foregone conclusion.

“A CFR is a positive development for a petitioner, but even afterwards the odds are still very much stacked in favor of denial,” he said.
