Carlin discussed the U.S. Justice Department’s charges against accused North Korean Sony Hacker Park Jin Hyok in the New York Times article “U.S. Accuses North Korea of Plot to Hurt Economy as Spy Is Charged in Sony Hack.” On why the indictment took years to put together, Mr. Carlin said, “In order to get admissible evidence, prosecutors have to work through any issues the intelligence community might have.”
