MoFo Represents SAIC in its Acquisition of Engility

Morrison & Foerster LLP is representing Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) (NYSE: SAIC) in its definitive agreement to acquire Engility Holdings (NYSE: EGL) in a $2.5 billion all-stock transaction. The transaction will make SAIC the second largest independent technology integrator in government services.

Based in Reston, Virginia, SAIC provides government services and information technology support. The deal is expected to close by the end of the fiscal fourth quarter ending February 2019.

The MoFo team is led by Charlie Katz, Northern Virginia Corporate/M&A partner, and includes Northern Virginia associates Lindsay Thomas and Lucas Barta, New York associate Stephanie Ference, and Northern Virginia of counsel Larry Bard.
