Arturo González, Chair of Morrison & Foerster’s Commercial Litigation and Trial Practice Group, was honored with the 2018 Judge Learned Hand Award by the American Jewish Committee (AJC) on October 4 during an award dinner in San Francisco.Established by the AJC in 1964, the Judge Learned Hand Award, named after Judge Billings Learned Hand of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, honors leaders of the legal profession for their outstanding contributions to the legal community by advancing democratic values, human rights, tolerance, and equality.Mr. González is well known for his bet-the-company trial skills, but he also makes a point to use his powerful litigation skills to serve his community.
