Morrison & Foerster’s China and Singapore offices continue to build momentum and gain recognition for excellence in legal services as evidenced by the firm’s recent rankings in the 2019 edition of Chambers Asia-Pacific.
The firm secured a Band 1 practice ranking in China in the following category:
- Technology, Media, and Telecoms (TMT) Information Technology: International Firms (China) – Morrison & Foerster’s TMT practice in China is known for handling an array of cutting-edge work spanning all areas of TMT, including recently representing SoftBank in its US$5 billion and US$4.6 billion investments in DiDi and advising Tencent on its patent cross-practice license arrangement with Google.
Additionally, two Morrison & Foerster partners in the region received Band 1 individual lawyer rankings:
- Singapore partner Daniel Levison received a Band 1 ranking for Corporate Investigations/Anti-Corruption for the second year in a row. Mr. Levison is well versed in FCPA matters and regularly advises on fraud, corruption, data security and competition matters.
