Morrison & Foerster is advising Centrifuge Systems, a leading provider of next-generation Big Data business intelligence and visualization software, in its sale to global government logistics contractor Culmen International. The combined business will operate under the Culmen International brand and provide a significantly expanded suite of technology capabilities.
Centrifuge Systems supports some of the most demanding applications in the world, including counter-terrorism, cybersecurity, homeland defense, and financial crimes analysis. The company's combined technology capabilities will now include Big Data discovery, link analysis, advanced analytics visualization, intelligence analysis, the Internet of Things (IoT), and agile software engineering.
The MoFo team was led by Corporate/M&A partner Charles Katz, managing partner of the firm’s Northern Virginia office, and included associates Erin Hoffert and Megan Larsen.
