SEC Pro Jina Choi Heads to MoFo, and More

Morrison & Foerster partner Jina L. Choi is mentioned in The Deal article entitled, “SEC Pro Jina Choi Heads to MoFo, and More.” Choi, who led the Securities and Exchange Commission’s San Francisco regional office, joined the firm as a partner in its San Francisco office.

Choi will be a member of the securities litigation, enforcement, and white-collar defense group and will advise on enforcement-related litigation, government and internal investigations, whistleblower complaints, and compliance programs.

Choi spent the past 16 years at the SEC, with the last five as the head of the regional office. In that role, she led a staff of 130 attorneys and other professionals responsible for the SEC's enforcement and compliance programs in Alaska, Northern California, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington.
