Saqib Alam, Of Counsel in Morrison & Foerster’s London office, was quoted in China Business News in an article entitled, “Asian and Chinese companies are not afraid of Brexit; Expert: Companies need to develop contingency measures in advance.” The article discusses the impact of Brexit uncertainty on Asian companies.

As the single interview source, Alam indicated that all scenarios—a no-deal Brexit, a new-deal Brexit, Brexit delayed, Brexit cancelled—are still viable at this point. Uncertainly remains at an all-time high. He suggested that those Asian companies who still see potential investment opportunities in UK need to plan and prepare contingency measures.
