MoFo Advises Palo Alto Networks on Its Acquisition of Zingbox
Morrison & Foerster is advising global cybersecurity leader Palo Alto Networks, Inc. (NYSE: PANW) on its acquisition of Zingbox, an Internet of Things (IoT) lifecycle management solution provider that offers the most widely deployed IoT security platform in the world. The proposed acquisition was announced on September 4, 2019, and is expected to close during Palo Alto Networks’ fiscal first quarter.
Zingbox is an IoT security company protecting IoT devices from cyber threats and helping organizations realize the full potential of their IoT investment. The company’s cloud-based service and advanced AI and machine learning technology for device and threat identification capabilities will accelerate Palo Alto Networks’ delivery of IoT security through its Next-Generation Firewall and Cortex™ platforms.
The MoFo deal team is led out of San Francisco by M&A partner Brandon C. Parris, with San Francisco M&A partner Jessica Isokawa, Boston corporate of counsel Kevin Madden, and San Francisco corporate associate Sara Uz.
