State Bar Association Creates Task Force to Look Into Domestic Terrorism and Hate Crimes

Carrie Cohen spoke to the Brooklyn Eagle about her new role as chair of the New York State Bar Association’s task force on domestic terrorism and hate crimes.

“As a former federal and state prosecutor and now defense attorney, I am honored to chair this important task force comprised of some of the very best legal minds with deep relevant expertise,” Carrie said. “It is my hope that our work will help lessen the serious threat to our country’s bedrock principles of equality and freedom from persecution, and assist law enforcement and lawmakers in their efforts to respond to the hate crime epidemic.”
