Morrison & Foerster is partnering with <a target="_blank" href="https://www.survivorcorps.com/">Survivor Corps</a>, the rapidly-growing grassroots movement dedicated to connecting and mobilizing survivors of COVID-19 in the United States to stem the tide of the pandemic.Matthew Karlyn, a partner in the firm’s Technology Transactions and Life Sciences Practice Groups, is leading the firm’s pro bono efforts with Survivor Corps and will also serve as an advisor to the organization. Matt and the MoFo team helped Survivor Corps founder Diana Berrent transform her idea, and the grassroots movement that ensued, into a nonprofit organization.“We are thrilled to work with Survivor Corps, and contribute our vast experience in commercial, privacy, regulatory, and intellectual property law to help the organization address the COVID-19 pandemic in real time in so many critical ways,” Matt said. “MoFo is proud to support Survivor Corps in its mission to stem the impact of COVID-19 and contribute to finding treatments, a vaccine, and a cure.”Survivor Corps was founded by COVID-19 survivor Diana Berrent on March 24, 2020 to empower survivors and supporters so they can help those in need and participate in scientific research opportunities.
