Shirin Tang, Morrison & Foerster’s managing partner in Singapore, recently spoke to The Business Times (subscription required) on how employers are supporting their staff's mental well-being, especially during the Covid-19 crisis.
She commented:
“As part of Morrison & Foerster’s longstanding program focusing on employees’ mental wellbeing, we have been providing “community support” through multiple initiatives during the circuit breaker. This includes a live webinar series called “The New Normal – How to Work, Parent, and Self-Care During the Crisis”. Led by a family therapist, each workshop is designed for parents of children of a specific age group and also includes a session for people who feel lonely and isolated. Through these, colleagues receive emotional support and strategies to manage work, parenting and self-care at these trying times. We have had tremendous feedback on how supported employees feel.”
