Morrison & Foerster has once again been included in Yale Law Women’s annual Top Firms for Gender Equity & Family Friendliness Report. Seeking to advance the status of women and traditionally underrepresented gender identities at Yale Law School and in the legal profession at large, YLW’s report highlights progress being made in the industry, and identifies areas for improvement.
Rather than publishing holistic Top Ten lists as in previous years, YLW honored firms for excelling in specific categories that relate to overall representation, including training, mentorship & diversity, promotions, leadership, part-time & remote work, billable hours, compensation, work-life balance & parenting, and paid leave.
To that end, Morrison & Foerster has been recognized for Top Firms for Diverse Partnership due to the firm’s strong level of representation of women and women of color at the partnership level. As a firm, we have been committed to creating a culture that respects and celebrates differences, while providing an inclusive environment where everyone’s contributions are valued. Speaking to our efforts, we continue to make progress toward our goals:
