Janie Schulman spoke to Inc. about how companies balance local mandates and federal employment law when requesting employees to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in the workplace.
“You don't want to be the business that's on the 6 o'clock news in a report that says one of your employees died because you wouldn't let employees wear masks in the workplace,” Janie said.
Janie advised employers to train employees on proper use of PPE if it is required in the workplace.
