Mark Whitaker spoke to Managing IP about how the International Trade Commission (ITC) can help brands stop elusive and anonymous counterfeiters.
According to Mark, practitioners often don’t do enough to emphasize the value of the ITC in fighting counterfeits, which is one reason why companies may not think of it as an option. “But I have long believed it’s a forum that could and should do more to address trademarks, trade dress, and counterfeit cases,” he said.
