Thomson Reuters’ Westlaw Today featured an interview with Chen Zhu, who discusses how he sees his cross-border government enforcement and internal investigations practice impacted in his first few months at Morrison & Foerster.

“There is currently a great deal of risk and uncertainty arising from economic sanctions and export controls measures coming out of the United States that are directed at certain parties in the China Market,” Chen said. “With that, there is a lot of demand for urgent legal advice of the highest quality from law firms that have on-the-ground expertise in both China/Hong Kong and the United States – law firms that can truly speak the languages of both businesses and regulators and understand their respective priorities.”
