Der Telekommunikationsanbieter 1&1 muss nur 900.000 Euro Bußgeld für einen Datenschutzverstoß zahlen. Das hat das Landgericht Bonn im November 2020 entschieden (Az. 29 OWi 1/20 LG). Damit reduzierte das Gericht den ursprünglichen Bescheid in Höhe von 9,55 Millionen Euro deutlich und stellte das Berechnungskonzept der Datenschutzbehörden infrage. Es ist das erste Urteil eines deutschen Gerichts zu einem DSGVO-Bußgeld.
