SPAC Bubble Fears Lead Hong Kong, Singapore Down Cautious Path

Morrison & Foerster partner Marcia Ellis was quoted in a recent Bloomberg article that discusses that in contrast to the SPACs euphoria in the U.S., Hong Kong and Singapore are more cautious in scrutiny and mulling tighter frameworks. According to Marcia, too many “safeguards” in the framework “could kill flexibility, which may render it unattractive to SPAC sponsors.”
