Morrison & Foerster has been recognized in Yale Law Women’s Sixteenth Annual Top Firms for Gender Equity & Family Friendliness Report. The report is produced to monitor trends in gender equity and family friendliness among law firms ranked in the Vault 100, raise awareness of disparities within the legal profession, highlight progress being made in the industry, and identify areas for improvement.
The report continues last year’s methodology of recognizing firm accomplishments through a series of “Category Honors” rather than one holistic Top Ten list. To that end, Morrison & Foerster has been recognized as the Top Firm for Diverse Leadership.
As a firm, we have been committed to creating a culture that respects and celebrates differences, while providing an inclusive environment where everyone’s contributions are valued. In 2020, we achieved “Mansfield Certification Plus” for the third year in a row as a result of successfully reaching at least 30 percent women, communities of color, and LGBTQ+ lawyer representation in a notable number of current leadership roles and committees. Throughout this year, we have continued to develop new initiatives and goals that further strengthen D+I within Morrison & Foerster, the legal industry, and beyond.
