Software Industry Awaits Details on Biden’s Order to Report Hacks

Alex Iftimie spoke to The Wall Street Journal about President Biden’s recent executive order on improving U.S. cybersecurity, which requires private sector companies that supply software to the government to report attacks on their systems and share information about breaches. 

“You could apply this to a narrow category of contractors that have very specific government contracts,” said Alex. “Or, theoretically, you could apply this very broadly to vendors and service providers that provide services much more broadly than to the federal government.”
