Morrison & Foerster partner B. Chen Zhu was quoted in the article "Chinese firms may be able to hit back at foreign partners under new anti-sanctions law" by South China Morning Post. According to Chen, as China passed the new anti-sanctions law on June 10, 2021, Chinese companies subject to Western sanctions may be able to seek redress through mainland courts.
