Mitchell Presser spoke to the Institute of Food Technologists for an article about special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) mergers for startups in the food industry.

According to Mitchell, while the SPAC trend has been decreasing, they “aren’t going away.”

He added: “They’re going through a bit of a digestion period.”
