MoFo Advises Verisem and Paine Schwartz Partners in Agreement to Sell Verisem to Syngenta’s Vegetable Seeds Business

Morrison & Foerster advised Verisem BV, an integrated global seed production company, and Paine Schwartz Partners, a global leader in sustainable food chain investing, in connection with the agreement to sell Verisem to Syngenta’s vegetable seeds business, part of Syngenta Group, a global leader in agricultural science and innovation headquartered in Switzerland. The transaction is expected to close in the coming months, subject to customary regulatory conditions.

The MoFo team was led by London corporate partner Simon Arlington and New York corporate partners Mitchell Presser and Omar Pringle, together with London associates Steph Craw and Benjamin Beswick, and New York corporate associate Tyler Miller.
